Robert J. Hunt
Robert J. Hunt is a Member in the Litigation Group. His practice focuses on commercial and other civil litigation and estate and trust law, with particular emphasis on estate and trust litigation. In recent years, he has represented condominium developers to resolve disputes with buyers, whether by trial before a judge or mediator, or through negotiation prior to trial.
Mr. Hunt is the founding member of Hunt & Gross, P.A. He was born in Syracuse, New York and received a J.D. degree in 1968 from Cornell University. Mr. Hunt attended LeMoyne College, receiving his B.S. degree in 1963 and Syracuse University, receiving his M.A. degree in 1965. Mr. Hunt served as a Councilman from 1981 through 1985 of Sea Ranch Lakes, Florida and Mayor of Sea Ranch Lakes, Florida from 1985 through 1990. Mr. Hunt has served as a Trustee of the Holy Cross Health Ministries, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, since 1996.
Mr. Hunt is a member of the Bars in Florida and New York and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. Tax Court.
Mr. Hunt is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, South Palm Beach Bar Association and American Bar Association.
