Debra D. Klingsberg
Debra D. Klingsberg is a Member in the Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation and arbitration, with particular emphasis on real estate and construction litigation. In recent years, she has represented several condominium developers to resolve disputes with buyers, whether by trial before a judge or mediator, or through negotiation prior to trial.
Ms. Klingsberg moved to Florida and joined the firm in 2004. Previously, she had practiced law with a large firm in Washington, D.C. and subsequently in the Legal Adviser’s Office of the US Department of State. She received a J.D. degree with High Honors in 1995 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Litigation. She received an undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Duke University in 1992.
Ms. Klingsberg is a member of the Bars in Florida, Virginia and the District of Columbia and is admitted to the Southern District of Florida and the Eastern District of Virginia along with the US Courts of Appeal for the Fourth and Fifth Circuits.
